Queen - Specifications

A queen bed is a very popular size because it is a little roomier than a double or a full bed, but doesn’t take as much effort to make and to keep looking nice the way a king size bed does. Generally, the sheets for a queen are going to be 59 inches by 79 inches (150 centimeters by 201 centimeters), but just like with the double beds, the sizes are going to vary a little, so you have to pay attention when you are shopping for sheets. If you are in a pinch you can use queen sheets on your double bed, although they will be very loose and the fitted sheet, in particular, may not be terribly comfortable to sleep on. For some people, this is worth it, as buying the wrong size sheets can be very frustrating and being able to use them on a smaller bed can save you a trip back to the store to return them.
